Hi guys i was looking at getting this rig:

Motherboard Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3
AMD FX 8350 4.0ghz Eight Core 16mb Cache
8gb crucial DDR3 1600mhz
1tb Seagate Barracuda Sata 6Gb/s 64mb Cache 7200rpm
Optical Drive: pioneer blu ray drive
Graphics Card AMD Radeon R9 280X 3gb GDDR5
PSU Size Corsair CX600 80 Plus Bronze 600w
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64bit
+ a wireless card.

I have a standard fan and heatsink.

things i would like to know.
what improvements can i make?
what cooler should i upgrade to?
should i overclock?
how good the overall system is?
can i get a better build for less than £570 (excluding O/S)?
what are the potential negatives for this system?
how long i can play next gen games for on medium settings?
is it good enough for heavy gaming (AC unity, the division), medium schoolwork (autocad)?
and if i should overclock and what would be a good overclocking?

thanks for the help guys
!!!!!

Solution
should you overclock? you can, but nI dont think you have to.
what upgrades you could do? you can get an ssd for faster booting, and to put a few games on. as long as you dont start autosaving office word files on it and such.
lots of ppl are using the hyper evo 212, seeing as you are using low profile RAM, this cooler is an excelent choice. it's a good performance, especially for the price.
it's quite a good build yes.
I have no idea about the price as I use another currency but it is 760 euro's so it looks quite good!
you'll be able to play games on high to ultra for the next 2 years(cant be extremely sure about this as games nowadays develop extremely fast) but it's quite a good card!
the potential negatives. some ppl might say you...

But I'm a bit confused as to your requirements.

I may have missed some parts.

the potential negatives. some ppl might say you will be better if with an i5-4670k but the amd fx 8350 is quite a good cpu aswell. the i5 4670k is a bit better. but the fx 8350, as I said before is quite a good cpu(and cheaper). it uses more power though

maybe get some case fans and link the case you are going to use.

And here`s an option that`s within your budget, that you will not be able to overclock, but still better that your initial build from some points of view:

Anyway, whatever you decide to buy, stay away from the CX Corsair PSU`s.
Get something good, or you might fry some of your components at one point, not just the PSU.

Edit: on-point with your thread title, your build is decent, just try and get an SSD later on, get a better PSU (not the CX models), and try to get a wired network connection. I know it`s one extra cable, but you get better speed and less problems.
