Dear all,

I had a PC start-up issue in that it would turn off after 1 second of being powered on. At that time I verified the mobo light was lit green so thought it must be the PSU on its last legs. Anyway, I left it as that for a week. I came across the PSU paperclip test so decided to perform. Had the PSU and fan connected, the test was successful - PSU working fine. I reconnected cables back to mobo and now the mobo's led was not lit at all? I triple checked that the PSU to mobo cables were secure, they were, no light. I have a dead mobo?

I have a Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU. Ram speed is 800mhz. Mobo is an Asus P5N32-E. So I'm looking for a mobo supporting an LGA 775 socket, 24-pin ATX and 8-pin CPU...

Thanks for your help!
