Hi.
I would need some advice as its been many years since I was dealing with desktop parts/assembly and not really familiar with todays price/performance. Starting from scratch.

Approximate Purchase Date: september-october
Budget Range: 700 - 750 GBP, possibly with shipping
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, be able to run anything for at least 3 years on high settings, multimedia, everything else
Are you buying a monitor: Yes
Do you need to buy OS: No
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: any UK retailers
Location: London
Parts Preferences: I would prefer Intel, unless someone can recommend a much better AMD build for the same price.
Overclocking: Maybe
SLI or Crossfire: Maybe
Your Monitor Resolution: does not really matters, just need a cheap starter monitor - will upgrade later
I dont need: Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers

Additional Comments: I would like to use this system for a few years before needed any major upgrades. Maybe a better MOBO and a spacious tower to make future upgrades possible.
Possible SLi or Crossfire and overclocking later on.
SSD not important at the moment, but if you can include it within the budget that would be cool.

I was trying to make a build myself, but was not sure about many things (PSU, GPU, tower, etc). I would love to hear some opinions on this:

Gave you the latest i5 for better performance, removed the CPU cooler, which you can allow later, so that you get better performance out of the other parts.
Put in a better GPU (it`s got similar performance to the GTX 770, which is more expensive), a different PSU, since the CX from Corsair is pretty bad, and a cheaper monitor with the same specs.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the answer.
The video card looks amazing compared the one I choose and with the better CPU it could really make a difference. At least it looks like it from the specs - Im not an expert :)
Without the CPU cooling I may pick a monitor with slightly better specs and still under 750. I will save your build, it helped me a lot.

Still waiting for other opinions, as the purchase date is relatively far (still 1 month or so).

I may start ordering cheaper parts soon like the tower, memory, HDD, etc

+1, but what is that power supply? I've never heard of Silverstone Strider.

I am ordering the parts tomorrow, I made minimal changes here and there but basically I am going to use your suggested build.
Thank you again for the help. I can't wait to build my new pc :)
