Hello everyone,
So i have a Alienware 17 with a 880m 4GB GDDR5, and want to add a eGPU so i can use it only in my house (turn my laptop into a desktop at home, to prevent my GPU to overheat and reduce its life spam and performance). In this case, i dont care about the budget… i wana know how to get a eGPU (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti kimgpin edition if its possible, if not, i want a powerful GPU that can run anything on ultra @ 60+ fps like crysis 3) and add it (externally) into my laptop (that includes the items that connects the GPU (PCI express 3.0 part and cables) to the laptop and the PSU). I dont know if this is possible, this is why i could use ur help. And very rare laptops supports eGPU's, and i think Alienware is one of them… but im not sure… if its not possible i would like to know why
If the specs of the laptop matters:
CPU: intel i7 4710mq
GPU: wont matter cz i wont be using it if i have a eGPU connected, but its 880m
RAM: 16GB DDR3L
