How much FPS can I get with an intel core i5 3470 processor and radeon r7 270x GPU....
Games I would be looking to play:
Assasins Creed 3,4
Battlefield 3,4
COD: Ghosts
Watch dogs
Metro Lat Light

Would prefer to play all these games on ultra...
Also tell me that will the FPS I get would be playable and will this CPU and GPU be able to handle next generation games??

Thanks.

Firstly, your CPU is good and won't lag your GPU.

Secondly, yes, these settings are very much playable. Anything above 40 FPS in decent. 45-50 FPS in case of Multiplayers is good, especially in BF4. Multiplayer might see around 40 FPS on Ultra settings.

But mind you there're many more settings than graphics settings, like this:

If everything is maxed out in all the games you stated, you might not even reach the 40 FPS mark, as it'll load the GPU and its VRAM too much. It'll get respectable FPS on High, which'll be my settings with this GPU on any latest title.

It can definately handle next gen games, but not...
medium to high not ultra setting,s fxaa enabled, at 1080p 45-60fps..
yes it will handle the next gen games for at least the next 12 months. after that its any1s guess as many game devs are adding larger more detailed textures so higher and higher amounts of vram will be needed.

you may be better off buying a different gpu with more vram 3-4gigs if you expect to keep it longer than 18 months.

the 270x is better suited to 720p gaming if the truth be told. you will manage mostly high and some ultra settings on some of them games and still manage 60 fps..

It can definately handle next gen games, but not on Ultra, preferably Medium-High with 40-50 FPS for the games due to come out in the next couple of years.
