Hi guys,

Built myself a gaming rig with 2 gigabyte 280x (rev2.0 hynix mem) for 5760x1080 gaming, getting artifact problems.. so, I piled up a bunch of questions.

1) Is 5500 score in Firestrike extreme normal? (others seem to get 6600-6800 or more, e.g http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/5826/msi-radeon-r9-280...)
2) is it possible that this PSU http://www.amazon.co.uk/Aerocool-Templarius-Imperator-S... is not enough?
3) Only get about 60-65c at full load, instability seems to start at 60c .. possible that something still overheats?
4) flashed both cards to 7970 F62 hynix bios, as someone said this eliminates artifacting. (reduced, but not gone) - Is correct driver for them 280x driver or 7970 now?

* this is the artifacting I get after a bit of playing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y46pC0rXa70
* tried under/overvolting, increasing/decreasing clocks, no help
* no artifacts during Unigine 4.0 or Futuremark 2013 benchmarks
* both cards seem to run stably separately
* tried 13.9, 14.1, 14.4, 14.7(beta) drivers
* cards bought 2nd hand for 125eu each from a miner, possible to sell them and get a 290x reference - i'd like to keep my 280x for best performance @ 5760x1080

I have never heard of that power supply so that could definitely be causing the bottleneck in performance. If you bought that card off a miner it could have also easily been abused.
