gtx 770 psu Help

Hi,
I recently bought a GTX 770 and my power supply only supports 1 six pin connector, whereas i need One 6 pin and One 8 pin. i have 700w psu so thats enough,
I was wondering if i could use dual molex to 8 pin connector without any problems,
this would only be a temp solution until i upgrade my psu in a month or 2.

What actually power supply do you have? Brand and model? How many amps are on the 12V rails?
Just because it says 700W doesn't mean it provides constant 700W.
If your 700W power supply only offers one 6 pin, its probably a bad quality unit and you want a better one.

It not an ideal PSU to use with a GTX 770. I wouldn't risk it, I would advise you to get a better quality PSU like EVGA B2 or G2, XFX and Seasonic.

i have had the psu for around a year now, works perfect with gtx 660 but ok.
this is the psu i think would work nicely

Not Corsair CX or CS series. They are mediocre, they not great for gaming pcs really.
