I am in dire need of a graphics card upgrade, it has been that long since I have had to buy one that the more I look at reviews, pricing, benchmarks, comparisons etc, the more indecisive I am becoming.
This is required for replacement of an AMD HD 4650 which has lasted me very well up until the drivers became completely obsolete a little while ago.
Main usage will be for projects using Unity (mostly), UDK etc as well as the usual programs such as Photoshop, Blender etc. Obviously gaming will come in to it too so I would like something that will have enough beef as well as last a while. I don't tend to play the latest games until they have been out sometime due to time constraints as well as funds.
I think I have narrowed it down to being between the R9 270X (AMD) or the GTX 750 Ti (Nvidia) as these sit nicely around a £100ish budget.
So I would like some advice/opinions on what specs/cards I should really be looking at to suit my needs as well as budget. Also any views from anyone who has these cards is very welcome and would be much appreciated.

Asrock z77 Extreme 4
Corsair 600w (can't remember exactly)
G-Skill 8GBXL Ripjaws X Ram
Crucial CT128M4SSD2BAA 128GB M4 SSD (Primary)
Coolermaster Storm Enforcer Mid Tower
2 VGA monitors - 1440*900 and 1366*768 (please don't judge too much!
