I have buyed a R9 280x, because I sold my GTX 650. But I don't unistall the Nvidia drivers before extract the GPU. Will be a problem to install my new AMD GPU?

Or just, mounting the R9, starting computer, unistalling nvidia drivers, and then installing amd drivers will be ok?

Thnkx in advance

Allright that's fine for you, but what about the hundreds of people that run into problems and post in these forums all the time trying to figure out what went wrong? Either way, like I said before. If it serves no purpose then it would never of been created. ;)

PS: I only recommend this to people with driver issues, people that are switching camps, and people that like to try out beta drivers. It just saves so much time and headaches using this program on a regular basis that it is well worth it IMO.
Before you install the AMD card, boot into safe mode and remove all nvidia drivers with this program: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html Then shutdown and install your AMD card. Boot into windows and install the latest driver. These steps should eliminate any issues that you may encounter. It will be a complete removal of your old drivers and fresh install of your new card this way, with no left over garbage anywhere to cause any issues.

don't NVidia have a uuinstaller/installer built in to there driver package??

and it shows there correct way to do this in the drivers foot notes

why would you need a outside tool for this simple thing ?? I don't see that in nvidias approved way of install/uninstall steps

Trust me. The uninstallers from AMD and Nvidia leave leftover garbage. Hilbert and the team at Guru3d wouldn't of designed the program if it served no purpose, lol. The regular uninstallers are fine if you are staying with the same company, but if you make the switch this program comes highly recommended. Maybe you should read the link and see what they say it's purposes are for. After running this program your system will be clean of all video drivers just like it was a fresh install of Windows. This should/could save a lot of headaches and time.
