I have a D-Link router and use D-Link adapters (DHP-W310AV) to extend the network around the rest of the house. These have worked fine for some time but in the last couple of weeks I have had an issue with them suddenly losing the powerline connection, and no matter what I do I can't get it to work again.

I can still get internet access on ethernet / wifi from the main router so it must be something happening between there and the powerline connection.

In answer to some likely questions:
- all adapters are plugged directly into sockets and not multi plugs
- there are no new electrical items on the circuit

I'm convinced (but cannot prove) that it is not to do with the electrical circuit, and therefore must be something to do with IP addresses or something like that, but I am way out of my comfort zone.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

If you use these adapters on a daily basis, they have a lifespan of a couple of years. From what you are describing, it sounds like they are end of life. New ones can be had for $35 so I would try a replacement.
