hi ,i have a INTER-TECH SL-550W PSU is ok to buy AMD Asus R7 265 ? can this psu support this card or i find something else...?

Solution
Actually,the 650 draws 65W,while the R7 265 draws 150W.
So it would be safer to put the 650 in there.
But nevertheless,it would be a good idea to buy a new PSU in the future(one of those I suggested).
All the best. :)

i just took this psu..i didnt have in my mine for new gpu... it was a supprise gift from my friend and i was wonder if my psu can support it...and something else the gtx 650 is better for this psu ?

If you have it,then keep it for a while.
It can probably handle the R7 265,but don't even think about doing some serious gaming as it will probably damage the GPU.
When you save enough money, get a higher quality PSU,like a Antec HCG 520M,XFX TS 550W or Seasonic M12II Bronze 520W.
Hope this helps. :)

i ask and some others techical guys from pc store and they told me that is ok..you dont have any problem with 550w..but i need to be more sure before i put in my pc..i dont want any bad supprises..!

Then I recommend using it for temporary use and no overclocking because if anything goes wrong you may lose the whole system.

As I said, don't do some serious gaming or anything that requires a lot of power.
Stick with it for a while and then buy a better quality PSU,like Antec HCG 520/520M,Seasonic M12II 520 or XFX TS 550W.
All the best. ;)

HI guys look what i find: AMD Radeon R7-265 Review - Hardware Setup | Power Consumption

Power consumption AMD Radeon R7-265
System in IDLE = 119W
System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress = 253W
Difference (GPU load) = 134W
Add average IDLE wattage ~10W
Subjective obtained GPU power consumption = ~ 144 Watts

Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:

AMD R7 260/260X/265 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 450 Watt power supply unit.

AMD R7 260/260X/265 Crossfire - On your average system the cards require you to have a 650 Watt power supply unit as minimum.

so i think,is ok with 550w!

I know, but like I said, the PSU you have now isn't the best quality.
Why would you buy a brand new GPU and then risk damaging it?
The 650 draws less power and it would be safer to put that in the PC.
When you save enough money, get the R7 265 and a new PSU.
