Losing Video (black screen) randomly.

I am having an issue with my PC. Randomly the video on the computer will go black. Sound will continue for a short while before the computer hard freezes. (pushing num lock does not toggle the lights on the keyboard).

This only happens randomly in "some" games. I have played watchdogs for 8 hours without a single crash. I play smite or wildstar and it crashes more regularly (every few hours at the most).

Steps I took: Switched memory slots in the PC.
Floor fan blowing into the machine incase of overheating.
Reinstalled both drivers, and then tried beta drivers for my video card.
Ran a program called BurnInTest from Passmark. All hardware "passed".

I am out of ideas as to what is causing the issue.

I forgot to put my system specs. I apologize.

I do not have another PC around unfortunately. Is there any way to narrow it down to being the GPU without another card to test in this pc, another pc to test the current card in?

Oh btw what software are you using to see the temps, GPU usage, and overclocking (if any)? If your not using MSI Afterburner, use that and configure the fan controller cuz I think ur GPU is running quite hot.

The temperature was listen in furmark. Watching it on HWmonitor I have not noticed it get nearly that hot. In the games I tested today it ran at 60 or lower. It was running 100% fan use during the stress test.

Those temps should be normal cuz the gpu is running at its full capacity, in games the GPU does not work at its full capacity thats why the temps are lower in games.

I actually just crashed on my desktop. First time that has happened. All I had running was Firefox and netflix within firefox.

I will try reinstalling smite though.
