Hey guys i am kind of sick of the console gaming and would like to move on to the next step of gaming! Could some make me a rig or recommended the parts for a rig that would get some really good gaming for only $300-$400?

I want to play most of the new games like bf4 and cod ghost at ultra or high settings if possible at 40-60fps. I hope I am not asking for a lot to come out of a $400 budget build.

I am not new to desktops and there components so you don't have to explain stuff to me cuz im not really a n00b

Thanks

For that fps its nearly impossible. The card itself would run around $200 bucks. With os and monitor it would cost at the least $600 (asuming you spend $200 between the monitor and os) plus cpu ram motherboard harddrive(another 300)

Asus now enabled overclocking on their H81 chipsets, so you would need a nice cheap board like this :

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132052
then you would need one of these processors : http://www.microcenter.com/product/435187/G3258_32_GHz_LGA1150_Boxed_Processor

I recommend this cooler : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118079&cm_re=zalman_cnps10x_performa-_-35-118-079-_-Product
though everyone else will recommend the coolermaster 212+ cause its cheap cheep.

Then see if you can still find a Geforce 660ti like this - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130854&cm_re=geforce_660ti-_-14-130-854-_-Product

That puts you at about 360, you need to find a cheap cheap case like this : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811353037

Then a cheap powersupply you can still trust... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817159124
This puts you at about 420, and is about as close as you are going to get.

Oh you also have to overclock the cpu to at least 4ghz, probably more like 4.4-4.5 to really make this system work.

Anyways there ya go.

Oh shit forgot the ram, yeah you are looking at 500 bro, but that will run those games you wanted very well.

I would recommend this build as i have tested it out and its capable of achieving what u want, but the system is out of your budget range. But then again if u want to play the games u say at those fps speed then ur looking for something like this. This is a budget build i made few months ago and it works like a charm. I would also recommend that you make yearly upgrades to the system and the overclocked results will blow ur mind.

Without overclocking:
Maxed out setting;
Black ops 2 on 200-300 fps
Bioshock 180-200 fps
Metro last night on 160-200 fps
Battlefiled 4 on 90-120 fps

Here is the build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Thirusan/saved/Fgvbt6

With this build u wont be able to run games like bf4 and cod ghost at ultra or high settings, probably medium with less than 60 fps

This is a great value for money build. You would be able to run the new games like BF4 CoD ghosts at high ultraish with 1-2x aa 1080p 40-60FPS :) (crysis 3 not included) Although this is $25 over budget.
