Hello.I got a problem with my PC.I bought a new GPU so i can play my games w/o stuttering or lagging but now I have an issue,my PC keeps freezing and/or shutting down then turning back on at times whilst playing some games(not all).So the question is,is it my GPU that's causing the issues or is it my GPU+OC'ed CPU.I'v stress tested it with prime for 6 hrs,max cpu temp was 55 and core 39,there were no errors.I'v never had these issues with my former GPU Gainward GTX 650 2gb.Also the GPU temp reaches about 75C so i manually adjusted the fans to 47% thats about 1600rpm,usualy it reaches 1300rpm at 75C on auto.
CPU:AMD FX 8120@4.0
CPU Cooler:CoolerMaster Nepton 280l
MBO:Asus M5A97 R2.0 Bios 2501
GPU:Asus R9 280x dc2t No OC
RAM:Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb No OC
PSU:Corsair RM750
SSD:Kingston Hyper X 120gb
HDD:WDC 1TB

Try reseating the GPU and reinstall all of the drivers. See if that will help.

if tis shutting down that is leaning towards the psu but it could be an issue with the gpu, I would reseat as stated above and check your power cable to the card. I know if you say pull power from the card etc the system will automatically reboot

Try running Furmark + Prime95 together. If the computer crashes almost instantaneously, it is most likely a PSU issue. If it runs for over a minute and temperatures all still look good, it could be a driver issue such as leftovers from Nvidia's drivers.

There are many problems with the Corsair RM Series, Read this article http://www.overclock.net/t/1455892/why-you-might-not-wa.... However it could be the graphics card, if you dont already have it download MSI Afterburner, and set your fan control using that.
