Hey everyone. Yesterday I built my first custom pc, and today the monitor has been randomly blacking out but the computer appears to still be on and running (the fans are working, the lights are on) So far, I have not found a way to reproduce the blacking out. The only way to fix it is to hard shut off the computer and restart. I have run a memory test with no errors.

When I was assembling it, I came across a problem with the motherboard power connector. I can not push it down far enough so that it clamps onto the board (the two pieces of plastic won't snap together). However, it seems connected perfectly fine. Also, if the problem is with that coming disconnected, wouldn't the whole pc turn off?

Here is my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ajthemacboy/saved/VBpzK8

I just ordered the parts from amazon a few days ago, all except the OS and Motherboard which came from newegg, if that makes any difference with the RMA process.

I should note that the power saving mode in bios is disabled, and has always been. I know there are countless threads on this, but none of them seem to have solutions. The poster leaves, or each poster RMAs a different part, some have conflicted answers and some never figure it out.
