So I have been through a lot of thinking and have decided instead of upgrading my GPU, I would upgrade both my case and my PSU (R9 270x GPU which I plan on getting needs a higher wattage PSU than I have)

I have so far found two options to choose from. Either as mentioned in the title the 550w Huntkey Green Series which ive never heard of before or the 650w Corsair which I have heard of, both good and bad things. I would much prefer to get the cheaper, lower wattage Huntkey but only if its a reputable company?

The website that lists the parts does not state if they are 80+ or not. Not sure if Huntkey even does that though. The GPU I want is the R9 270x which only requires a 500w PSU ( main reasons of looking at the Huntkey )

Is the Corsair PSU better? Any recommendations?

Many Thanks!

Huntkey Greenstar 550 W is not good at all.

This PSU at full load (550 W): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XglUdm25Bxo

Buy Corsair HX650 if you want. But Seasonic X-Series KM3 650 W is even better.

Thank you. This just made my life a whole lot easier. Wont let that happen to my PC, whether or not I get it to full load or not.
