Hey, I need help deciding I want to get the high end graphics card. Money is not a problem, but the GPU I want is the r9 290x but I also want the gtx 780, because I heard if you record your gameplay video gtx 780 should be the bang for your money,
there's also the gtx 780 ti but I feel like it's way expensive. Since there coming out with the 800 series GPU, I wonder if the price will drop, and will it also drop on black Friday or cyber Monday as well.
If you guys can help me that would be great, thanks.

Both AMD and NVidia offer tools to record your gameplay now, AMDs is called something like the Gaming DVR and is part of their Raptr AMD Gaming Evolved software that comes with their drivers now. This is pretty similar to NVidia and it's GeForce Experience software which offers shadow play which records game play with very little performance impact to the game.

Either way you go those are pretty top end cards and will be very good performers. Though you should match your video card to your other hardware and power supply.

As for waiting for sales and price drops, there is always something around the corner to wait for. If you find a card with the features and performance you want in your budget then you may as well grab it. Unless the release date is just a couple of weeks or less then you'll be waiting forever if you are always waiting for the next best thing to be released.
