I have not overclocked anything before or after the freezes began.
Specs
Processor: AMD FX 8350 Eight-Core 4.00GHz
Video Card: Radeon HD 6950
Memory: 8GB RAM AMD Performance Edition
Case: IN WIN GRone Case (White)
Hard Drive: Crucial SSD 256GB
Mother Board: GigaByte Ultra Durable GA-990FXA-UD7
This freezing problem occurred a few days ago. I've had my rig for about a year now and never had problems til a few days ago. I was prompted with a stop error 0x000000F4 (hardware problem I was told). I ended up wiping the drive and reinstalled everything perfectly fine. I started getting this freeze that happens every 40minutes or so no matter what I'm doing but when it shuts off it goes to a blank screen and no BSoD shows so I have to shut it off by holding the power button. When it boots up everything boots up fine and I can play or whatever for another 40minutes til it freezes again. Please need help.
Thank you in advance.

You can try downloading and running this diagnostic to see if it can find a driver conflict, as that's what it sounds like is happening.

I don't torrent and as for other file sharing apps I'm unsure.
CrystalDisk said "Good 97%."
Restarted the computer for the paging file to take effect.
Now I'm updating the firmware if this doesn't work I'll switch the SATA cable and use a different port.
Thank you for the help by the way.

Okay, so much for the lucky shot in the dark approach. Looks like we'll have to do some real diagnostics.
Do you have any other drives connected? (HDD, ODD)
What BIOS do you currently have on the mobo?
Are all of your drivers current? (Can check this on mobo support webpage.)
What PSU do you have? (Make, model, size, etc)
What are your RAM details - model number, number and size of sticks, DIMM slots that they're installed in, etc?
Are you running any kind of hardware/temp monitoring software? (e.g. HWMonitor)
Do you have CPU-Z installed?
Is your sleep state enabled?
