To go with your APU, a GTX750Ti or R7 260X would be suitable. Much stronger cards would be bottlenecked by your APU.

Sorry if my suggestions exceeded your budget. The R7 250X is a rebranded HD7770, which is a little weaker than the ones I suggested, but still a workable choice on a tight budget.

Thanks for your input, would be willing to spend that wee bit extra for a better card out of the first two you suggested which one would you go for ?

If you're willing to purchase used cards, £100 is more than enough. Both the cards recommended are somewhat weak. For £100 I'd purchase either these two, the performance between the two cards are equal so it's your choice between Nvidia or AMD:

The Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X or the Nvidia GeForce GTX 660.

The two cards above IMO are still very high end, and are far superior than those recommended already in this thread. I believe I am able to recommend these cards as I too am from the UK, hence am able to scope out the deal. Again that is if you're willing to purchase used cards.

All the best. :)

Thanks will these two cards suit my computer and wont bottlenecked by my APU. Thanks i wont mind spending the extra bit for my cards, but will my computer be powerful enough to run these type of cards?

Those cards work very well but I don't think it would do its best on your APU. Hence, go with R7 260X as Onus mentioned above.

Your APU to be honest will bottleneck most graphics cards. I'd purchase the best GPU you can for your budget and consider upgrading your APU in the future. If you upgrade your APU in the future, don't upgrade to another APU as performance will be just as weak, instead switch to the AMD FX series or go with Intel. I'd go with Intel as switching to FX will require a motherboard switch anyhow, in addition Intel provides better single-core performance.

To conclude yes your APU will bottleneck most graphics cards, but regardless I'd still get the R9 270X or GTX 660. There is no point compromising on the GPU to anything weaker, your APU can always be upgraded.

All the best. :)

I wouldn't bother downgrading your GPU but if you want to save money, why not purchase the HD 7850 for £70? It still beats the performance of the R7 260X, yet cheaper.

Any GPU will do the job, depends on what games you desire to run.

All the best. :)

So you reckon the 270 would play games like battle field call of duty, mine craft, and grand theft auto, ill be looking to play games of that description and without lag but i want good graphics like a ps4 or xbox one or as close to it, hope this helps abit more. What use think!?

Yes, the 270 is fine for those games. Your APU is going to hold you back a bit though. Sadly, any decent upgrade will require a new motherboard as well.

Yes it will. The 270 is faster, but it also costs more.
