This might be a dumb question.
I bought an SSD a couple of days ago and I'm gonna install it now, I found my Windows 8.1 reinstallation DVD. (pre-built PC) So as far as I know, it'll only work on my P.C. But, Could I install the O.S. with the DVD? (Like I said this is a dumb question, but the D.V.D. states that the software on the DVD is just for backup and recovery. So it's really confusing me. I tried to test it, I popped the CD and rebooted but it didn't boot the windows installation, just normal boot-up. I had to play it on my desktop and I could go from there.
