Hello! I have a laptop with a-8 4500m and a radeon hd7470m, if I were to upgrade to the processor in the title, would I see much of a performance increase? Dual graphics on. Desktop answers are irrelevant, like " just get a gaming pc instead"
Thanks!

Honestly i dont think it will give a big enough difference to be worth the money. Save the money for something else (like the eventual replacement of this computer whether it be laptop or desktop)

Yes, you can upgrade your APU to the A10-5750M, you may need a BIOS update. Even them it may not be recognized, but you can try.

If it is recognized correctly, is better if you use the iGPU in the A10 rather than using dual graphics. Dual graphics rarely works OK and the Radeon HD 8650G is powerful enough for even 1080p low settings gaming in some games.

In the CPU part you won't notice the difference.

I don't want to be rude, but that is just why I wrote that desktop ansetts are irrelevant, since I already have a desktop, but it is too big to carry if I'm going to a friend or something like that. Right now it plays Borderlands 2 on the lowest settings with 17 fps, while it would be nice to have atleast 40. Also what if I get 8gb of ram too? Would that give av additional performance increase?

a new apu wont make that much of a difference. maybe up to 23-25 range but likely no more of a new apu.
