is a HDD ok for game storage?

Solution
An HDD will do just fine for most things, especially multiplayer games. An SSD will load the game quickly but if you're in a multiplayer environment, you'll end up having to wait for everyone to load the game as well anyway. If you're more into something like skyrim, it might be better to go with an SSD. Your HDD option will certainly be cheaper though. Anything with 7200RPM and 16MB Cache or better is decent. Easily under 100$

one more thing - does cache really matter in a HDD?
