Re-building my old computer

I'm trying to re-build my 7 year old computer and would like to spend as little as possible. I mostly use my computer to search the web, play poker and 1-2 games like Diablo3. I found a great combo deal on a brand new G3258 CPU and a GA-H81M-DS2V mobo for only $80. I already have a GTX 550TI video card and a 550w power supply that are only a year old, and I plan to get Windows7.

I don't know anything about computers and don't like to mess with any of the hardware, so I wont be overclocking my CPU or adding any extra video cards, and will have to pay someone to help put this all together.

Is there anything I can salvage from my old computer that wont contain any of the viruses I had before? The memory sticks of my mobo or hard drive or the CD drive thing?

What else should I buy?

Yes you can use memory and CD drive but the hard drive best not to because it will have the virus on it (if you had it on your old system). You can only use the hard drive if you use DBAN to completely wipe it but its up to you. Might be easier for you to just buy a new one since a 1TB is now only about £40.

With the new motherboard and CPU you will need to reinstall windows on a new hard drive (this will save all of your old files)
You could salvage the memory, but i would imagine that its either DDR2 or simply too small to be useful in the slots on the new Motherboard.

New motherboard, new CPU, new PSU (what make/model? this matters a LOT)
You'll also need new RAM.

So except for maybe the case, and maybe the DVD drive, you're building a whole new PC.

What is your overall budget and use?
