Forget the second one because of the weaker processor and less recent GTA graphics. Looking at laptop #1, specs are pretty much the same as #3 except it has 4GB more RAM but a less powerful graphics card. That being said, #3 has 4GB less RAM and a more powerful graphics card. You need to decide whether or not you want the better graphics card in #3 or double the RAM in #1.

The reason not to take #2 is because of the "U" processor which is more weak and won't come to your benefit unless your main goal is power-saving. Personally I would take #1 because Intel HD Graphics 4600 are the best of the Intel graphics (excluding the ones in Macbooks) and the 4GB extra RAM will really be to your benefit. Every year games and programs become more hefty and in Windows particularly more RAM always helps.

Depends on what the general use means. Out of the three, I'd also favour 1 (with more ram and an operating system), unless you specifically want a dedicated graphics (3 in that case).

However, it also depends on what the prices are and what you want to use the computer for. I would, for example, also be interested in battery life and weight. And if I really wanted to buy a 15 inch laptop (I prefer smaller sizes), I'd at least want a better screen resolution. See -- it's all about personal preferences and you haven't written too much about yours.

And are these the only computers you can choose from?
