Hi all, I want to split the HDMI output from my Win 7 based machine onto two HDTVs and have an HDMI splitter in hand; however, Windows is not recognizing the splitter (which is powered) and thus only shows me that my DVI is the only connected display. I suspect it needs drivers but I don't know which ones to go for! The splitter is a cheap, no-name splitter but I suspect there have to be generic HDMi splitter driver available somewhere... Any ideas ?

If you connect a TV by a standard HDMI cable and set it to the default output, does it work? If yes, then try your splitter, if you lose signal, splitter is rubbish. You normaly can't do the usual things like mirror or extend the desktop with these things.
