Why would you want to get a cpu cooler for a un overclockable cpu? If you want to get low temps, a coolermaster hyper evo 212 would be much better as it's cheaper and will keep it cooler too
Yeah listen to him. Now that it registered in my mind, you don't need an H100i on a locked chip. The stock cooler should be fine unless you want quiet, then go with his recommendation of the Hyper 212 EVO.
Yes, even though it only says it supports LGA1155, LGA1150 and 1155 use the same mounting holes, so coolers are compatible with both. The better question would be whether your case has room for the H100i's radiator. What model is your case?
