Monitor hasn't been turning on even though I notice there is power surging through my computer. I've done a lot of things, reseeding gpu, reconnecting everything, different cables for monitor, tried my tv, removed CMOS coin, etc. I took out one of the sticks of ram I have installed and it booted up, I was able to log in and what not. Was then changing my time & date when the monitor shut off, and the fans in my computer became very loud.
I'm guessing it's an overheating issue of some sort? I recently reapplied thermal paste and cleaned it about a month ago. Should I try cleaning it again?
