Your question

Would upgrading from a FX 6100 (O.C'd at 4.1) to a FX 8350 show larger results in performance?

Yes yes we all know the answer is yes right away but I currently have a GTX 760 and I'm coming to believe that my CPU is bottlenecking it. So if I were to upgrade my OC'd CPU to a new one would it result in a larger FPS and performance is most games and tasks?

Sorry if my question seems a bit more like common sense for computer enthusiasts. I'm just having a hard time in explaining my question.

Thanks so much for replying if you do!

In games, no, in almost everything else, yes. Games cant use more than 2 cores with the exception of a few games and there is no big increase in single core performance.
