Should I Upgrade To Windows 8?

Through a series of sales and friends' unwanted purchases, I now have a key for Windows 7 AND Windows 8.1. Before, I'd downgraded to 7 because of some video driver issues, but I bought a much better GPU and I have no problems now, ever. I heard that Microsoft is rolling Windows 9 out soon, and that in 2015 Win7 will no longer have any support. Should I pop in my 8.1 CD and upgrade, or should I stick with what I know and wait until the end of 7's days?

Extended support for Win 7 does not end until 2020 at the earliest.
As far as Win 9 and 'soon'....that date is unknown.

Win 7 or WIN 8.1....either. Little performance difference either way. Personally, I like both.

Thanks, everyone. I just noticed that there's a huge amount of posts like this, sorry to contribute to the clutter. I guess my specific factor for switching is this: has anyone run into issues with nVidia drivers for GTX 770 on 8.1? Once again, thanks for all the help.
