Only 1 GB of Ram available with 8 GB of RAM installed

I just built a custom gaming PC and I installed 8 GB of RAM but I only have 1.21 GB of RAM usable. How do I get the other 7 GB to be usable?

what is your OS..?
well, i bet that's 32 bit..

so, use 64bit OS..
