I have got Platinum on Skyrim with 300 and up hours into it and i have beaten every possible quest, yes its possible and i have every rare and no rare weapon, armor, and pretty much one of everything possible to obtain in Skyrim and all DLC. And i have a 18MB game save also. Is there anything to do to help this out? Because 80% of the time it is 1-2 Frames Per Second, yea thats right 1-2FPS and no its not my PS3 because i tried a new character and it was smooth and around 30FPS so it is only on my career and it is not the CD either. My PC build is not done yet so i can not play it on PC yet until next month :(  why does almost every game suck on Frame rates on PS3, PS4 and such Gahhhh this sucks please help! :(

And mine will be running on two MSI R9-280X's Crossfired. But its soooo sad that it can run on a $20 GPU yet a $200 PS3 could not run it, hell a $500 PS4 could not run it good either lmao

PS use a 1.8GHz, 8 core slug of an AMD cpu. Skyrim is heavily single threaded. Not a good combination. Now throw in all the extra crap you own, DC's etc, and that slug is trying to do the 100 yard dash wearing concrete boots.

The CPU i have is an Intel Core i5-4690 it runs it perfect i just need to wait for my new memory kit to come in because the ones i had were defective. It was running it at 60FPS with over 300 Graphics mods on ultra no probleme yet my PS3 runs it at one FPS if the save is over 5MB, wow sony, wow. And there are soooo many reviews saying that AMD is not a good choice if you are a hard core Skyrim player.

Yeah, but when the ps3 came out it was pretty powerful, but they should of known the advances in graphics would outclass it in a couple of years. Bad move by console makers.

i remember when the ps3 came out i upgraded my pc to an 8800gts (not the best at the time but still considered pretty high end) and core 2 duo e6600. Now that ran things like Oblivion much faster/smoother/higher details than the ps3, so it was outclassed by pc's the day it was released. Skyrim is much more cpu and graphics intensive than oblivion was, so its a wonder it runs even reasonably well on the ps3. I have also found on PC with skyrim poor performance from a corrupt save, go to the same place in the game from a fresh new game and its faster. Could also be that the game engine doesnt have to track as many things/npc's/quests from a new save.
