Hi, I have blue screened a while in the past, but not the same stop code. 2 days ago I had this error and just 5 minutes ago I had the same exact one. Recently I just uninstalled pretty much all of my games and tons of programs that added up to about 500 gb or so, so that might be a reason? If anyone can help me that would be awesome

Solution
WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR? - Uncorrectable hardware error.

Usual causes: Hardware, Incompatibility, May be driver corruption

Post your build.

Do a checkdisk with repair on your hard drive
Run a virus scan eg Avast (free version from CNET) and Malwarebytes

Test your CPU with Prime95

Test your RAM with memtest86

In Control Panel, Device Manager, check ALL devices are working and their drivers are up to date.

If none of these help, dowmload HWInfo and run Sensors. Then post the results - usually 3 screenshots in TinyPic or similar.

This is really helpful I will try all of these when I get back to my house on Saturday. It also just happened after I took apart my entire pc and cleaned it. I'm pretty sure that I put it back together correctly. Anyways thanks a lot :)

Specs:
Corsair Carbide Series 400R
Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+
XFX Core Edition Radeon HD 7850 2GB
XFX P1-850B-BEFX 850 Watt 80 Plus Gold Full Modular
AMD FX-8350 Black Edition 8 core 4.0GHz
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600 ram
WD Black 1TB Hard Drive
LG 24X DVD Burner

All drivers are up to date.

Here is the chkdsk: http://gyazo.com/3f50c3e2fc037728a134a16789836ed8
It is going to finish fixing when I restart my pc.

I don't trust CNET so I used Spybot Search and Destroy and the results said http://gyazo.com/26bf28739ab91bf3de68123119f4ee32 that there were no threats.

Malwarebytes said there were no threats either: http://gyazo.com/be1aad9191f4c5054bcefd9312349c19

I don't know how to properly use prime95 or memtest so for now I am not going to do this. If I blue screen again I will let you know

bugcheck 124 is called directly by the CPU. it should not be a virus or normal device driver.
it can be caused by a overclocking device driver.

normally, you want to update the BIOS, or reset it to defaults, update chipset drivers for your CPU.
stop any overclocking and check for overheating or stopped fans or fans that are running slow because of too much dust.

incorrect power levels provided from a power supply can also cause this. (less likely until you check the other potential causes)

errors from the hardware directly attached to the CPU can also force the CPU to call this bugcheck

Okay, I Blue Screened again but this time is was 0x0000001E. I just recently cleaned my whole pc so it wouldn't be dust, my power supply has 850 watts and that is enough for my build, I recently restored my bios to default, and I do not know how to update the bios. Thanks in advance for the help

bugcheck 124 is caused by the CPU
bugcheck 0x1e may be cause by the CPU if the status code = 0x80000002: STATUS_DATATYPE_MISALIGNMENT

you should learn how to update the BIOS, or at least reset it to defaults or go into the BIOS and change a setting and change it back and save the settings and reboot. You just want to make sure you don't have a corrupted BIOS or have some automatic overclocking enabled.

850 watts is fine but it is not related to having proper voltage regulation which would be one reason for getting bugcheck 124. (voltage regulators can fail in the power supply, or on the motherboard and they actual value of the voltage output can change over time with heat and age of the electronics)

I don't trust downloading system diagnostics programs I have heard a lot of them are fake and viruses

I am thinking of just fresh installing my windows and formating my hard drive because I don't have much on my hard drive and it wouldnt take very long

formatting and reinstalling windows will not have any useful effect on that error. The error is called by the CPU, it is not called by windows or a windows drivers.

What does that mean?

when you get a bugcheck windows will copy critical information from memory and put it onto a file on your hard drive. The file will have a file extension of .dmp, you get that file put it on google docs with public access. a person connects to the file with a windows debugger and dumps the correct info out of the .dmp file as to why the bugcheck was called.

search your hard driver for .dmp files. The location is user configurable but if you have not changed it or your OEM did not change it. Then it should be in c:\windows\minidump

It isn't uploading to google drive and when I put them into a zip file it doesn't work either

if google does not work, try another vendor like microsoft onedrive, or mediafire. One of them should work for you.

I don't whether Sensors was run while gaming.

Your mobo - http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A97_LE_R20/ - alsop has a UEFI - "UEFI BIOS -
ASUS UEFI BIOS offers the first mouse-controlled graphical BIOS designed with selectable modes, providing a user-friendly interface that goes beyond traditional keyboard-only controls. " - You should also install that.

Your power supply voltages seem OK. What values do you get from the 12v, 5v and 3.3V readings in UEFI?

And your GPU readings seem OK. You should be using Afterburner to monitor and control your graphics card.

Your CPU is of most concern. It's Vcore seems stuck on 1.313V which is low for a FX CPU. Yet your temp is 42C which is high and why your fan is running at 2700rpm.

I gather you've got a stock cooler. Which if clean and seated properly and without overclocking, should do a good job.

You need to blow out your case with compressed air to get rid of built up dust - especially from your cpu cooler.

If your idle temp isn't below 40C and gaming temp below 55C then you need to re-seat your cooler (Google it).

If still not good, you need to get a better cooler eg Coolermaster hyper 212 evo.

As I said before, I just recently cleaned out my entire pc with compressed air, so I don't know what the problem is. Right now I am formatting and reinstalling windows because I only had like 200 gb of crap on it and it will be easy to reinstall everything. My pc gets louder sometimes after playing cs go for a long period of time but other than that it sounds normal. I only had teamspeak and chrome open when I ran the sensors
