hello i am delaying my purchase of a new gpu so after researching i found that in my country price of r9 270 is less so i wanted to buy a sapphire r9 270 dual x 2gb ddr5 oc gpu over a r7 265 which is quite slower than r9 270 so my question is can my pc will be able to handle this gpu with comfort plz reply

my pc got
a i3 2120@ 3.3 ghz , 8gb ddr3 1333 nhz twinmos ram , Asus p8 h61mlx3 r2.0, corsair 450 VS,
i usually run all my game @ 1366x768 so can this gpu run every upcoming and released pc game at ultra or high preset at least at 60 fps and if i overclock it will it outperform similar gpus like this one ?? and how well it can run with my processor ??
so guys i have so many ??? above all will it be worth a upgrade for my pc????

Oh the hardware... you need to check how much can your 12v rail supply on the PSU then check the power requirements of the graphics card. If the PSU can handle it, you can mount the card.

It also needs to have the appropriate power connectors.

If you can power it, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Why do you ask such as strange question? Just say it right man:
"Is buying R9 270 a good idea for this pc?"
See? Try it! Its not so hard, you can do it, I believe in you! :D

Anyways, Your processor is the problem, its a bit slow, lacking in cores; hyperthreading doesn't actually mean your CPU has 4 cores, more like 2, which can do 2 instruction per cycle, and not many games use that, so you're stuck with half-n-half.

If you ask me, it doesn't feel right... such a quality card with such a budget pc... like trying to stick a mercedes engine in a yugo.

Then it seems you already made up your mind. I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but it IS a budget pc. To be honest I am not financially better off than you, but I managed to scrape enough cash together to buy a decent all rounder rig that will last me a long time. In the long run I am going to save money by not needing to upgrade it at all.

You should try the same.
