MicroSD for tablet

I recently purchased a Le Pan Tablet by android. It says supports up to 32 Gb MicroSD add-on. However I have seen larger MicroSD's that support up to 64 Gb and 128 Gb. Is there a danger in using a larger size than supported?

No danger but using a card more than specified limit, will not be read by the tablet(displaying card not supported) or the speed will be so slow that it can hang up the tablet for a while to open anything in your card!
