I HAVE WD ULTRA AND HAVE CONNECTIVITY ISSUES IT GETS DISCONNECTED FREQUENTLY WHILE SEAGATE EXPANSION NEVER GETS DISCONNECTED IS IT ANY PROBLEM ?

Yes it is a connection port problem(male or female). The small delicate pins sometimes get damaged or displaced or broken due to rough use. Try replacing cable. If problem persists then the port on the harddisk may be damaged.
