I have a ~$3000 budget. I plan to play high end games at high settings. I am ok with gaming at 1080p, BUT if I wont be risking much performance with my budget I would like to run 1440p. It seems a little early to be running at 4K am I correct?

I prefer Intel and NVIDIA. I am planning on running the new GTX cards that are coming out in September so for price reasons we can use the GTX 780 ti's.

$3000 will only include the tower and monitors.

Just looking for some suggestions on builds.

Thanks

If you're not interested in gsync or 144hz, although it would be great for gaming, this is also a fantastic monitor.

OK so this is a little bit over $3000, roughly $139, but one really crazy nice system.

The SSD is just for the OS and the 500g 10K drive is for games and the 1tb 10K for storage. With this setup, you should have no prob running just about anything at full tilt...

Have fun.

You should be able to do just about anything with this, if you go for 1080p monitors you can grab 2 at right around the same price as this 1 Asus 1440p monitor.
