Could Windows 7 Drivers work on Windows 8.1?

Hi!

I recently got WIndows 8.1 Both 32 and 64 bit Cd's, and i am wondering if i can install Windows8.1 on my laptop. I checked my laptops drivers and it doesnt have win 8.1 drivers.

So could it work?
