I'm wondering if I purchase an item on eBay, if they give me the Serial Number and Receipt will I be able to utilize the 2 year warranty?

Solution
The only trick they might have is that the address might have to be the same on the reciept or invoice, maybe name, not sure if it was bought at a store though. I buy most everything through the Egg, but that's all I can think of. If there's no way to tell who bought it or where, then you should be good to go.
Some companies like gigabyte you just need the serial number. Other companies vary, you'll have to check or wait for some one with experience with Sapphires' customer service recently to chime in. You could always put in a ticket to Sapphire, I'm sure they would be more than happy to tell you.

I know that all you need is a Receipt and Serial Number for Sapphire, i'm just wondering if they have any tricks to prevent you from transferring the warranty to someone else. Thanks.
