Hi all first time hear, hoping someone can help. Ive searched the forum already hoping to find an answer but so far haven't been able to.
I'm having a problem changing the TDP of my new Kaveri CPU to 45w, in the bios i have found the place to change the TDP but it will not let me change it no matter what i do ?? Is there anyone hear that has the same board as me, maybe im doing it wrong, i don't know.

My HTPC Spec

MSI A88XI AC
Amd A8-7600 Kaveri
8GB Crucial Ballistix Ram
Noctua NH-L9a
PicoPSU-160-XT 12v 160W
Streacom F1C EVO

Hi,

I have the same board with a a10-7800 but I can't seem to find the bios settings to change it too 45w. Where abouts is it? Also what temps are you getting in the uefi?

Hi, i figured it out. The setting is in the cpu features section its called cTDP it will be set to auto, to change it type in MANUALLY 45w and hit return :)
