It's about the i72670 and i7 4510.
What is the difference they had done by making next generation processors?? I mean i7 2670 was there 3 years back in 1000$ laptops and now i7 4510u in today's 1000$ laptops. I saw the benchmarks of both and results were astonishing!!! 2nd generation ones is about 2times faster than 4th generation. What new have they created in 4th generation processors whose benchmarks are so low????

Hey again and again! If you are a heavy gamer a low voltage CPU (a CPU that doesn't consume much power and therefore lack some capabilities of some not "U" CPU) is not recommended but casual then fine. To be honest the i7-2670 will do fine but may not be powerful enough for current games as it is obviously a laptop. However fo gaming, I would rather get the i7-2670 as it is a much better CPU.
