Hi all,

I just purchased a BenQ 2740L monitor. Everything went fine during the install, and it's running through HDMI from a GTX650.

However, every time is goes into standby, it turns off and refuses to turn back on.
I unplugged the power cord, gave it a minute and tried again. It turned on, then straight off. I tried again without the hdmi cable, and it stayed on.
I replaced the hdmi cable, and it ran fine for about a day. The problem is now happening again.

I'm at a loss here hey. I updated the nvidia drivers, I definitely removed the plastic screen so it's not overheating, and I've triple checked all the cables are in and seated properly. I checked the settings through the monitor and auto-off is disabled.

Can anyone help me out here? I'm at the limit of my tech knowledge

Hello, as I could see, it may be a hardware defect.

Try to check whether there are problems inside the pin of HDMI Cable ( mostly none ). And then try to use VGA instead. If the problem is still unresolved, make sure you can use other monitor's. If not it could be graphics card defect. Finally, if things aren't resolved yet, exchange for a new monitor, it could be hardware defect on your monitor side.

Hope your problems resolve quickly and good luck. :)
