Normally My PC works fine, whenever I play games or use Photoshop, etc, my PC just hangs up after 3-5 minutes and I have to force it to shutdown by pressing power button. And sometimes it reboots ? This hang problem also occurs when I do online multiplayer gaming.

Open your cabinet. take a look on the fans and fins. Clean them and then check the temp. Check your gpu temperature also. I guess you have overclocked you GPU. May be when you game with that gpu, your temp is reaching around 90+ and the safety procedure takes off.

hard way..
using msi afterburner combine with HWinfo..it'a realtime temp monitoring to your gpu and cpu..

easy way..
using hwinfo, or coretemp or aida or speedfan..
play your games for 5 minutes, then exit the game..
then watch the maximum temperature reached in the program..

In your catalyst center you will see a temperature panel. There you can see the temperature.
I am telling you, your PC needs some cleaning!

well, that's too hot..

e8400 max temp is 72.4'c..

that's why your computer freeze..as a mechanism to protect the processor..

clean your heatsink..
and reapply a thin layer of (good quality) thermal paste..

or, get a better cooling solution..a tower style heatsink like coolermaster 212 evo or enermax tb40 is good to reduce your processor temp..
