I've been encountering striped screen crashes when playing games.I had a crappy Hunt key Jumper 600 W power supply so I thought it was the power supply causing the crash. But after upgrading to a Sea sonic S 12 G Gold 750 W power supply, the crash still happens.I had these crash from the start but its getting more serious by day.Is my GP U dying?
Any suggestion or help is most welcomed.

CPU-A M D Phenom II 960 T BE
GP U-Power color R 9 280 X Turbo duo
RAM-Nameless crappy Kingston RAM
PS U-Sea sonic S 12 G 750 W 80+ Gold

It's not a new issue and chances are there is nothing wrong with any of your hardware.

But those are Radeon 5xxx series cards and mine is a R9 280x.The cards aren't even using the same chip.

The problem is with the drivers not the card, hence why it's not a new issue.

Hmm,is there any particular version of driver that is safe to use?Or all of them has the same problem?
I've used Catalyst V14.3 to V14.7,all seems to run fine but suddenly the crash start to occur more and more often regardless of the version of Catalyst I'm using.

I have found that using just the 14.2 driver without CCC gives the best results as far as stability is concerned.

Yes, I run without CCC installed and I use F@H to test.

Well Furmark is considered as a "heat virus" by both AMD and Nvidia so that probably didn't do your card any favours but as far as the other two are concerned it could still be a driver issue. I had to wait for over nine months before a stable (for me) driver came out and that was the 14.2, it's a shame that it doesn't work for you as well.

Keep trying different drivers, eventually you might find one that works. If however you think it is a hardware issue then RMA your card.

Ok,I've tried plenty but I'll keep trying.I've also been contacting the seller, but he's currently away.
UPDATE-I tried 3DMark Firestrike with default settings with the 14.7 Beta R3 driver. http://imgur.com/OXfyHdh,HxnI3iD#0 , http://imgur.com/OXfyHdh,HxnI3iD#1
