I am having issues with ac4 multiplayer :) So I try port forwarding. I have a huawei e5172-920s router.

https://support.ubi.com/en-gb/FAQ.aspx?platformid=9&productid=4186&faqid=kA030000000eaegCAA

This link has the ports,.. How should I fill this out? I have set my pc a static ip but my router doesn't have one :(

In static ip I have given my router address to dns..

Type:

Protocol:

Remote host:

Remote port range:
*
Local host:
*
Local port:
*
Status:

And what should be the "type" ? is it dns or should I leave it as custom?

Thanks and please help

Your router should have the same private ip address everytime you start it up. For example 192.168.2.1, and your devices are labeled by the dhcp server (ex., 192.168.2.2) which could be different everytime they connect unless you manually set the devices' ip address like you said you have.

I don't understand what you mean by "In static ip I have given my router address to dns" Did you mean you set the DNS server to your router's ip address (which is what it should default to) or you set the DNS server to you PC's static IP address?

Well I would say put the type to dns since you put the ip address as the Dns. I dont have any experience with that model router so I cant really give you any credible information. Im just saying the router's ip address is supposed to already be static and not change. And the default dns is the router's ip address or the modem's ip address. Sorry I can;t help you further.

You will need to open a tcp port on the router to allow inbound connection to your computer

Also you will need to open a upd port on your firewall with an increment of 10000..

Just choose port forwarding on your router settings then just add the tcp port number.
