Hey there I look forward to upgrading my rig to 16g

At the moment I have 8 Gigs of Kingston HyperX Beast (2 x 4GB) . Would it be a problem if I mix up the CL ? When I open up CPU-Z it says that it has 11 Clock at CL . What would happen if I would buy CL9 or CL10 sticks?

Here is the info from CPU-Z :

CAS#Latency (CL) : 11 Clocks

Solution
The slowest DIMM determines the maximum speed and best timings you can use since the memory controller only supports one timing configuration for all installed system memory. If you "mix" 1833-9 with memory that can only go up to 1600-10, your system will have to run with 1600-10 timings.
