Cant re enable mouse! HELP!

Solution
Can you use the keyboard to go back in and re-enable it? You might have to use the windows key to bring the start menu up, navigate to control panel using the arrow keys, then use arrow keys to go to to mouse settings and re-enable it. You also might have to use the tab key along the way to jump from text fields to buttons and so-forth

When you open device manager, hit tab to move down to the device categories, hit the down arrow until you get to Mice, hit the right arrow key to expand it, hit enter on the device to bring up properties, hit tab a few times untill you see the General tab become highlighted with a dotted line around it, hit the right arrow to move to the driver tab, then hit tab to go down to Enable

So it's been uninstalled and it wont let you update/install driver from windows update? Can you list your system specs? Do you have blue usb ports as well as black, if so which one is your mouse plugged in to?

Go into control panel, after opening device manager hit tab and go down to the mouse category (at this point unplug mouse and plug it back in to a different USB port) then hit the menu key (on most keyboards it is near the bottom right, between the windows and ctrl key), then select scan for hardware changes. This probably won't help but it's worth a shot...

If all else fails I would try downloading USB drivers from your motherboards manufacturer site (if you list your motherboard make/model I can look it up), but navigating to the site and downloading the drivers with just a keyboard might be tricky. If you have a second computer and a flash drive it would be easier to put the driver on there and install them using just the keyboard

ahh i see... in device manager, at the top you should see your computer's name and all device categories below it are kind of like sub-categories... highlight your computer name at the top and do the same thing (hit menu key > scan for changes)... Can you list your system specs (or even just motherboard)?
