samsung ssd 840 (plain) and samsung ssd 840 evo raid 0

i was wondering , cand i do a RAID 0 between two 120 gb samsung 840 ssd's , IF one of the is the EVO version and the other one is the plain (simple) version ?

You probably can, but there is zero need to do so. You gain no performance benefit, and reduce reliability.

why is that so ? i used 2 identical 120 gb ssd's in raid 0 before .... the read speed went up to 930 mb/s.
