I just got a very good deal on a dell OptiPlex 390 MT. It has an i5 2400 and 4gb of ram. I'm interested in trying to get into some pc gaming with it. I would like to upgrade the ram to 8gb install a new psu and video card. My question is could I install a new psu? it appears to be a standard size but I'm not positive about that. If I can upgrade the psu what would be a good video card to pair with the i5 2400 in the 200 dollar range.

yes, it's a standard size and you can replace it with practically any PSU that will physically fit into the space in the case. If you buy a good quality PSU with 2 PCIe power plugs, you can put really any $200 video card in there. An Nvidia 760 is pretty good. I also saw an AMD 7950 in your price range recently. Good luck!
