5.1/7.1 amp recommendation

I'm looking for a 5.1 or 7.1 amp to connect to my pc system. I have some speakers which look like they are very good quality but they are spring clip/ bare wire. can anyone recommend a reasonably priced amp that uses S/pdif or HDMI input which will be easy to connect to bare wire?

What aa said, though if you go Onkyo, get something from this years models as previous generations for the past 5-7 years had quite a few problems with their HDMI boards. This years model (at least at this point) seems to have it sorted out. Otherwise Denon and Pioneer and even Sony's newest offerings are worth looking at.
