nvidia gforce gtx

Solution
The graphics cards will always be down clocked to the lowest card.. so in this case i think it would be a waste of money to SLI a Titan Z with a gtx 780 ti. It is pretty much always better to SLI with the exact same card you are using now. and bear in mind that SLI will only give you about 30 - 40% performance boost.

Solution
to bridge nVIDIA cards, SLI is correct terminology. To bridge AMD cards, Crossfire is correct terminology.

For SLI, both cards should be of same model i.e you have to buy another 780Ti to create SLI. 780Ti can't be SLIed with Titan family.

Architecture or core base bridging is only available in AMD cards.
